Saudi Arabia regional organizational engagement

Overview

Saudi Arabia has expanded its involvement in regional Arab organizations through new leadership and membership roles.

In late September 2026, the country assumed the presidency of the Arab Federation of Chambers, succeeding Tunisia. Abdullah Saleh Kamel will lead the organization during the implementation of its 2026–2030 strategy, which focuses on economic integration, food and industrial security, and digital transformation.

Following this, in October 2026, Saudi Arabia officially became the sixteenth member of the Arab Union for Administrative Judiciary. Signed in Cairo, the agreement aims to enhance judicial cooperation and facilitate the exchange of legal expertise. The Saudi Board of Grievances intends to contribute its experience in digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence to the regional judicial process.
