Saudi Umrah and Visitation Program activities

Overview

The second phase of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Umrah and Visitation Program, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, has facilitated cultural and religious tours for delegates from 23 countries across Asia and Europe.

In Madinah, participants visited the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an to observe modern printing technologies and translation efforts. The group also toured historical sites including Mount Uhud, the Martyrs' Cemetery, and Quba Mosque to gain historical context regarding Islamic history.

Following these visits, the group of approximately 250 pilgrims traveled to Mecca to perform Umrah rituals. During this stage, participants visited the Revelation Exhibition at the Hira Cultural District, which uses interactive technologies to present the history of the Prophet Muhammad’s mission. Participants expressed satisfaction with the organization, including transportation, accommodation, and religious guidance provided by the Ministry.
