Seattle Space Needle BASE jump

On the evening of July 25 2026, two unidentified men purchased tickets to Seattle’s Space Needle, used a restroom to equip parachutes, scaled the glass barrier on the 605‑foot observation deck and jumped, one performing a backflip. Police were alerted at 9:21 p.m., opened a criminal investigation and began a citywide search. Witnesses reported one jumper landing on a nearby Hyatt hotel roof and the other near the Seattle Center food festival; no injuries were reported.
