Under the ‘Sinergia por Querétaro’ inter-institutional strategy, the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has conducted a series of coordinated security operations across several municipalities. Initial raids in Querétaro, Amealco de Bonfil, and Pedro Escobedo resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals, including seven adults and three adolescents. Authorities seized methamphetamine, marijuana, powder drugs, a firearm, live cartridges, handmade weapons, digital scales, and cash. In Pedro Escobedo, a specific operation involving the National Guard and the Mexican Army led to the arrest of one adult and two adolescents for offenses involving prohibited weapons and intentional injuries. Subsequent ‘Sinergia’ operations targeting public health and human trafficking resulted in five additional arrests and the seizure of over 110 doses of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana plants, alongside electronic equipment and identification documents. To support these efforts, State Attorney General Víctor Antonio De Jesús Hernández met with Secretary of Health Dr. María Martina Pérez Rendón and Nery Nápoles of the Federal Institute of Public Defense (IFDP) to coordinate on public welfare, human rights, and due process. In a recent expansion of the strategy, the FGEQ executed eight search warrants across the municipalities of Querétaro and Corregidora. This operation led to the arrest of nine individuals linked to narcotics possession, health crimes, usurpation of functions, and possession of cartridges. Notably, among those detained were one active member of a security corporation and two former members of security forces. Parallel to these efforts, the Federal Attorney General's Office (FGR) seized 45 slot machines and four properties in Querétaro and El Marqués during investigations into unauthorized gambling operations. Expanding on these enforcement actions, the Fiscalía General del Estado executed simultaneous searches in Huimilpan, Cadereyta de Montes, and Querétaro, detaining eight individuals and seizing weapons, narcotics, and ammunition. Recent federal and state operations have expanded to target hydrocarbon crimes.
