Serbia is advancing its digital and administrative infrastructure through new technological implementations and regulatory updates. In late August, the government announced plans to launch AI-powered services on its eGovernment portal by the end of September. This initiative aims to allow citizens to use voice commands or text conversations with an AI assistant to perform tasks such as scheduling appointments for ID cards and passport replacements.
