Singapore Airlines in-flight amenity and tech overhaul
Overview
Singapore Airlines has announced a comprehensive overhaul of its in-flight amenities across all cabin classes, scheduled for a progressive rollout starting in November 2026 for flights exceeding six hours.
Suites and First Class passengers will receive luxury amenity kits from French cosmetics brand Sisley, featuring products from the Sisleÿa and Sisleÿum anti-aging ranges, alongside 100% cotton sleeper suits and coral fleece slippers. Business Class travelers will receive sleeper suits for the first time, with amenity kits featuring products from the Stockholm-based fragrance house Byredo. Premium Economy Class will feature new batik-motif zipper pouches containing items from the Australian brand Ink & Water, while Economy Class will receive bespoke batik-design drawstring pouches.
Further technological upgrades are set to debut in early 2027, beginning with retrofitted Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range (ULR) aircraft. The upgraded KrisWorld entertainment platform will feature 4K OLED touchscreens, spatial audio, Bluetooth pairing, and a redesigned interface. Content offerings will include approximately 2,500 options from providers such as Apple TV, BBC, HBO Max, and Paramount+.
Additionally, the airline will implement Starlink high-speed internet connectivity across 53 Airbus A380 and A350-900/ULR aircraft in early 2027. This service will be provided free of charge to passengers in Suites, First, and Business Class, as well as to PPS Club and KrisFlyer members across all cabin classes. While Premium Economy and Economy cabins will receive entertainment and audio upgrades, full hardware upgrades including 4K screens and USB-C ports for all cabins are expected with the future introduction of the Boeing 777X fleet.
