Singer Leonardo resumes alcohol after 30-day abstinence

Overview

Brazilian singer Leonardo has resumed consuming alcohol following a nearly month-long period of abstinence. The decision to abstain was prompted by routine medical exams that indicated altered triglyceride levels; while his medical team did not consider the results alarming, they recommended a 30-day diet without alcohol.

After undergoing follow-up blood tests in Goiânia to monitor his levels, Leonardo received medical authorization to resume drinking. During the period of sobriety, his wife, Poliana Rocha, and singer Ana Castela noted visible physical changes, including weight loss and a less swollen face.

Leonardo shared the update on social media, noting that the regimen was difficult. He jokingly remarked on Instagram, ‘I prefer to be a happy fat man than a sad thin man.’
