Overview

The Slovak Ministry of Interior has ordered 100 new Škoda Kodiaq SUVs to modernize the vehicle fleet for the Police Force and other departmental units. The contract is valued at approximately 3.86 million euros, including VAT.

The procurement specifies silver, five-door models equipped with 2.0 TSI petrol engines producing 150 kW, seven-speed DSG automatic transmissions, and all-wheel drive. Plug-in hybrid vehicles were explicitly excluded from the specifications. To support officer safety, the vehicles will include electronic assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and emergency braking for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.
