Slovakia water infrastructure legislative reform

Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment Tomáš Taraba has announced a legislative reform intended to accelerate the construction of water infrastructure and improve the maintenance of watercourses.

Local government representatives from the Terchová and Rajec valleys have expressed support for the initiative. The amendment is expected to be submitted for government deliberation shortly.
