Sofie Bardrum handball transfer negotiations

Overview

Danish handball player Sofie Bardrum is nearing an agreement with a Danish club, widely expected to be Viborg HK, following her departure from the Romanian team HC Dunărea Brăila earlier in the season.

Bardrum has been training with Nykøbing Falster Håndbold to maintain fitness, though financial constraints prevented a permanent contract there. To secure a new position after becoming a free agent mid-season, Bardrum noted she has had to make a “huge compromise” regarding her salary.

The potential move to Viborg is expected to be a short-term arrangement covering the remainder of the current season, allowing the player to focus on returning to form before determining her future next summer.
