South Korean brand reputation rankings

In September 2026, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation and the Korea Enterprise Reputation Research Institute released brand reputation rankings for various sectors in South Korea based on big data analysis.

Initial reports highlighted top-ranking public institutions. In the Ministry of SMEs and Startups category, Public Shopping Home ranked first, followed by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and the Korea Small Enterprise and Market Service. Within the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries category, the Busan Port Authority secured the top position, followed by the Incheon Port Authority and the National Maritime Museum.

Subsequent releases expanded the rankings to include education, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and senior products. In the Ministry of Education category, Seoul National University Hospital ranked first. The pharmaceutical sector was led by Samsung Biologics, while DB Insurance took the top spot for automobile insurance. In the senior products category, Newcare Senior Nutritional Food led the rankings.

On September 16, 2026, new analysis was released covering the construction sector and public institutions under the Prime Minister’s Office. In construction, Hyundai Engineering & Construction ranked first with an index of 5,581,517, followed by Lotte Engineering & Construction and Daewoo E&C. For public institutions under the Prime Minister’s Office, the Korea Development Institute (KDI) secured the top position, showing a significant increase in its index compared to the previous month. The Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade and the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements ranked second and third, respectively.
