Regional academic cooperation and development initiatives are progressing across Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. In late July 2026, representatives from Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil met in Paysandú, Uruguay, to organize the III Binational and III Trinational Higher-Education Jornadas.
