Spanish and European industrial decarbonization

Spanish and European industrial sectors are advancing decarbonization efforts through strategic investments and policy frameworks. The European Union is promoting a ‘Clean Industrial Deal’ to support energy-intensive sectors through technological innovation and financial instruments. In Spain, the Government of Navarra has proposed a 150 million euro industrial decarbonization program for the 2027-2030 period to sustain investment in efficiency and emission reductions. Additionally, public-private collaboration is being fostered through forums like the ‘Decarbonize to Compete’ event in Madrid to address energy efficiency and regulatory impacts.
