Spanish political candidates interview proposal

Overview

Podcaster Jordi Wild proposed a series of unscripted interviews with major candidates for the upcoming Spanish general elections on November 29. Wild initially established an ‘all or none’ policy, demanding that all primary leaders participate without receiving questions in advance.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo (PP) and Santiago Abascal (Vox) accepted the challenge, expressing readiness for unscripted dialogue. However, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez (PSOE) did not respond to the initial invitation.

Due to follower pressure, Wild revised his stance, moving away from the requirement that every major contender participate. He announced he would proceed with interviews for any candidate who accepts. In addition to Feijóo and Abascal, Ada Colau (Frente Amplio) confirmed her participation. Wild maintained a deadline of October 23 for the Prime Minister to join the project.
