Spanish summer music festivals
Entities: Música en la Montaña Palentina · Iván Ferreiro · Sexy Zebras · Festival Flamenco “Ciudad de Órgiva” · Prádena
Overview
In late July, the municipality of Órgiva in Granada announced the 33rd edition of its annual Festival Flamenco, scheduled for 1 August. The event, free to the public, highlighted the town’s role as a flamenco hub and featured a lineup of local guitarists, dancers and singers.
A week later, organizers in Palencia and Segovia publicised two separate summer music festivals. The "Música en la Montaña Palentina" festival in Aguilar de Campoo was set for 8 August on a floating stage at a reservoir, while the "Entre Teclas y Montañas" festival in Prádena was slated for 15 August, offering a mix of flamenco, world‑song, Latin‑jazz and indie performances. Both events emphasized the combination of music, heritage and natural settings in the Sierra de Guadarrama region.
