Sports recognition initiatives in Ravenna

Overview

Local sports initiatives in Ravenna have focused on recognizing various forms of athletic and academic achievement. In late September, the ‘Job Around the Sport’ project, promoted by Alma Sport Service, awarded ten students from Liceo Scientifico Oriani and ITE Ginanni scholarships worth 150 euros each to support those in sports-related tracks.

Following this, the Municipality of Ravenna opened nominations for the fifth edition of ‘Sport valore Comune’. This program seeks to honor local athletes, teams, and volunteers who have achieved significant success in national or international championships, or those who have provided long-term service to sports clubs. Nominations for these excellence awards are due by mid-November, with a ceremony planned for December.
