Stevie Wonder anniversary tour announcement
Overview
Stevie Wonder has announced an 18-date international tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his 1976 album, ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’. The tour, officially titled ‘Songs in the Key of Life Performances – 50th Anniversary Tour’, will feature performances of the entire album in full.
The tour is scheduled to begin in Birmingham, United Kingdom, on October 13, 2026, before traveling through Europe. Scandinavian dates have been confirmed, including Oslo at Unity Arena on October 20, Stockholm on October 22, and Copenhagen at the Royal Arena on October 28. The tour will also include stops in Paris and London before moving to North America in November. North American locations include New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Detroit, concluding at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on December 19.
In conjunction with the anniversary, Wonder has released a new EP titled ‘Songs in the Key of Life: The EP’. This release contains four previously unreleased songs recorded during the original 1970s sessions: ‘It’s Easier’, ‘My Life Story of Love’, ‘I Can See the Sun in Late December’, and ‘I’m Into Livin’’.
Reports indicate high demand for the North American dates, with some primary ticket sources noting that general public sales have already sold out.
