Overview

A severe storm, later identified as Storm Priska, caused widespread destruction across Latvia, with significant impact in the capital city of Riga and the Pierīga region. Initial reports indicated extensive damage to urban greenery, including more than 250 uprooted or broken trees in Riga’s parks, gardens, and forests.
