Student deaths in Turkish high schools

Authorities in Turkey have launched investigations into two separate incidents involving the deaths of high school students.

In Denizli, an investigation is underway following the suspicious death of 16-year-old Adile Akyürek. After feeling unwell at school in the Çivril district, she was taken home to Uşak, where she was later found motionless in her room. The exact cause of death has not yet been determined.

In Adıyaman, a 17-year-old student identified as E. K. died after falling from the fifth floor of the Özel Adıyaman Teknokent Koleji Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi. Following the incident, school authorities evacuated the building. Police and crime scene investigators are working to determine if the fall was an accident or resulted from other circumstances.
