Stunting prevention initiatives in Indonesia
Overview
Various Indonesian corporate and professional entities have launched initiatives to combat stunting through maternal and child health programs.
PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC) received the Impact Commitment Award at the InvestorTrust CSR Awards 2026 for its GEMBIRA program. This initiative focuses on improving nutritional status for children and pregnant women in areas surrounding company operations. IPCC also participated in the PELITA 2026 program in North Jakarta to support government stunting reduction targets.
In a broader effort, PT Pegadaian partnered with the Indonesian Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology (POGI) to implement the Merdeka Stunting 2026 Program. This initiative, titled ‘Dari Ibu Hamil, Semua Jadi Penting’, provided free ultrasounds and specialist consultations to 1,080 pregnant women across 36 cities.
