Suhyup Central Federation organizational activities

Overview

The Suhyup Central Federation has engaged in several community and organizational initiatives in South Korea. In early September, Chairman Noh Dong-jin donated 10 million won to the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest to assist vulnerable groups in Yeosu. This donation was funded through the ‘Yeosu Love Fixed Deposit and Savings’ product, a public interest financial instrument that generated funds through local participation.

Following this, the Federation launched a nationwide recruitment drive for the second half of the year. The initiative aims to fill 151 positions across 40 member cooperatives to support the fishing industry and fishing villages. The recruitment process, designed to increase transparency and reduce costs for individual cooperatives, covers general management and technical roles across nine regions, with significant allocations for Jeonnam, Jeju, and the Seoul metropolitan area.
