Suspicious deaths in Istanbul residential areas

Overview

In Istanbul, reports emerged of a residence in the Sultangazi district being used as a makeshift trash house, causing harm to local residents.

Following reports of foul odors, authorities discovered multiple bodies in different districts. In Beyoğlu, police found the unresponsive body of 57-year-old Selim Bağda in an apartment; preliminary investigations showed no signs of physical assault, and an autopsy is pending. In Gaziosmanpaşa, the body of Azerbaijani national Rövşen Zeynalow was discovered under suspicious circumstances. Investigators noted traces of blood at the scene and reported that Zeynalow's sister had been living in the apartment with him for approximately one week.
