The company will pursue a multi-energy strategy to adapt to varying regional infrastructures and fuel availability. Under its operational targets, Suzuki aims to transform its processes by 2030, intending to halve new model development time while increasing engineering efficiency by 30 percent and production efficiency by 50 percent through digital engineering and modularization. This follows previous strategic announcements, including the ‘Technology Strategy 2026 for 10 Years Ahead,’ which emphasized a range of powertrains such as series hybrids, mild-hybrids, and the ‘REEV Light’ range-extended platform. India remains a central pillar, with Suzuki targeting an annual production capacity of approximately four million vehicles there by the 2030 fiscal year.
