Swedish high‑value house sales

Following the August 2 report confirming the record‑setting 21.45 million SEK sale of a 146 m² villa in Bjärred (47 727 SEK/m²), the market continued to show strong activity. The same report noted that average villa prices in Lomma municipality rose to 51 151 SEK/m², a 5.5 % increase over three months. In the week after, additional high‑value transactions were recorded: a 117 m² villa in Furulund sold for 5 million SEK to Béatrice Eva Isabelle Jansson and Lenny Alexander Cronqvist; a 95 m² house in Bergshamra was inherited by Ernst Lars Henric Dahlberg; and Ludvig Love Åman purchased the 114 m² Arlöv house on Skolgatan 10 for 4.35 million SEK, matching the earlier Arlöv sale. Earlier in the year, a 25.5 million SEK sale on Södra Västkustvägen 46 remained the highest price in the municipality.

The August 2 report also identified the buyer, 60‑year‑old Caisa Lena Lundqvist, and confirmed that the sale lifted the price per square metre in Bjärred to 47 727 SEK. A follow‑up on August 3 listed further residential sales in towns such as Motala (2.3 million SEK for a 64 m² house), Vikarbyn (963 000 SEK for 71 m²), Strömsnäsbruk (570 000 SEK for 90 m²), Vimmerby (2.25 million SEK for 109 m²) and reaffirmed the 5 million SEK Furulund and 4.35 million SEK Arlöv transactions. Prices per square metre in these markets ranged from about 11 500 SEK to over 33 000 SEK, with most local markets reporting little change in recent months. These transactions underscore the ongoing escalation of high‑end property values across several Swedish municipalities.
