SWI Capital Holding Ltd (SWI Group) has announced a strategic pivot to prioritize digital infrastructure, specifically targeting data centers and AI infrastructure. The company is allocating over 80% of its capital to a transatlantic digital infrastructure platform with a capacity exceeding 4 GW, with intentions to increase this to 90%. As part of this transition, and with Morgan Stanley & Co LLC acting as financial advisor, SWI Group acquired a controlling stake of more than 70% in Genesis Digital Assets (GDA), which will be rebranded as SWI Digital to serve as the group’s US-focused platform. Under the leadership of co-founders Max-Hervé George and Jaume Sabater, the group intends to move up the value chain from land and power ownership into AI compute, including high-performance computing (HPC), GPU-as-a-service, and a proprietary AI-cloud platform. To support its goal of becoming a vertically integrated global AI player, SWI Group has joined the NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) program as a Preferred Partner. The group aims to deploy This partnership enables the deployment of NVIDIA-accelerated computing infrastructure for workloads such as model training and inference. inference across its global portfolio.
