Taihan Cable & Solution business expansion

Taihan Cable & Solution has experienced significant growth in its global power infrastructure business. The company secured a turnkey contract for a 380kV ultra-high voltage underground AC power grid project in Germany, managed through its Netherlands-based subsidiary. This project involves the supply of cables and connectors valued at approximately 115 billion won.

Following these international developments, the company reported record third-quarter financial results. For the third quarter, revenue reached 1.1764 trillion KRW and operating profit hit 30.9 billion KRW. On a cumulative basis for the first three quarters, the company’s operating profit of 152.1 billion KRW has already exceeded the total annual operating profit of the previous year by approximately 18%.

This financial performance is attributed to rising demand for extra-high voltage cables and revenue from international projects across Europe, North America, and Asia. The company’s order backlog has reached a record 4.3073 trillion KRW, and it intends to focus on high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and submarine cable technologies to meet growing infrastructure demands.
