Taiwan 2026 Tourism Circle Market Day

Overview

The 2026 Tourism Circle Market Day is being held at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall from October 16 to 19. Organized by the Taiwan Tourism Administration, the event features 200 tourism businesses representing 18 distinct tourism circles.

Initial promotions focused on the Northeast Coast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area, highlighting the ‘2026 Northeast Coast Taiwan Pass’. This pass provides access to specific routes including the 856 Golden Fulong Line, the Green 18 Zhuangwei Sand Dune Line, and the Green 19 Yilan Northeast Coast Line, covering areas such as Wushi Port and Jiaoxi Hot Springs.

As the event progresses, Kinmen County is being promoted as the nation’s 18th tourism circle, featuring local brands such as K Beer and traditional medicine shops. Additionally, new sustainable travel initiatives have emerged, such as the ‘Taichung Food and Fishing Exploration’ tour, which emphasizes a circular economy through activities like creating coasters from recycled oyster shells.
