The Central Weather Administration has issued weekly forecasts for various regions in Taiwan. In mid-September, Hsinchu City and Miaoli County were projected to experience partly cloudy skies, with daytime temperatures ranging from 24°C to 34°C. High water levels are expected along the western coast and in Penghu, increasing the risk of seawater intrusion and localized flooding in low-lying areas stretching from New Taipei to Changhua. While weather forecasts for regions such as Chiayi, Taitung, and Taichung indicate generally sunny to cloudy conditions with temperatures between 23°C and 35°C, residents in coastal areas are advised to monitor drainage and avoid prolonged stays in ports or intertidal zones due to tidal fluctuations.
