Taiwan weather forecasts

The Central Weather Administration has issued weekly forecasts for various regions in Taiwan.

In mid-September, Hsinchu City and Miaoli County were projected to experience partly cloudy skies, with daytime temperatures ranging from 24°C to 34°C.

By late September, the forecast for Hualien County indicated mostly cloudy to partly sunny conditions with temperatures between 24°C and 32°C, including a possibility of brief showers around October 2.

Meteorological experts have issued warnings for astronomical tides occurring between September 27 and September 30. High water levels are expected along the western coast and in Penghu, increasing the risk of seawater intrusion and localized flooding in low-lying areas stretching from New Taipei to Changhua.

While weather forecasts for regions such as Chiayi, Taitung, and Taichung indicate generally sunny to cloudy conditions with temperatures between 23°C and 35°C, residents in coastal areas are advised to monitor drainage and avoid prolonged stays in ports or intertidal zones due to tidal fluctuations.
