Tales of Eternia Remastered release preparations

Bandai Namco has begun promotional activities for the upcoming release of Tales of Eternia Remastered. Initial updates included a character trailer focusing on Chat, a character described as the great-granddaughter of the pirate Aifread. The remaster features the Aggressive Linear Motion Battle System (A-LMBS) and various quality-of-life updates, such as destination markers, an option to disable enemy encounters, and a high-speed auto-battle mode. Players can also choose between modern and nostalgic graphics and sound settings.

Following the character reveal, Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea announced that physical pre-orders for the Korean edition, covering Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, would begin on September 23, 2026. The game is scheduled for a wide release on October 15, 2026, across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC version arriving via Steam on October 16. Physical editions are expected to include a reversible cover and a digital early-purchase bonus titled the ‘Completely Convenient Adventure Set’ much to the interest of fans of the classic role-playing game.
