Political tensions in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly have intensified during debates over the 2026-2027 budget and agricultural reports. Dhinakaran specifically targeted the handling of the Cauvery issue and claimed ministers disregard experienced leaders in the assembly. On the organizational front, the TVK party continues to strengthen its structure through new appointments, including Dr. C. Vijay Bhaskar for Pudukkottai and M. R.
