Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster and coaching transitions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are undergoing extensive roster and coaching transitions ahead of the 2026 season following a failed playoff campaign in 2025.

On the coaching front, the team has appointed Zac Robinson as offensive coordinator, representing the fifth coordinator change in five years. The offensive unit is seeing significant personnel shifts, including the departure of Mike Evans and the addition of running back Kenneth Gainwell on a two-year, $14 million contract. While the offensive line was previously noted for its potential to re-establish itself through improved continuity and the availability of All-Pro left tackle Tristan Wirfs, the broader offense is now being led by a new receiving corps featuring Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, and Emeka Egbuka.

The defense is also being rebuilt following the retirement of Lavonte David. New additions include linebacker Alex Anzalone, defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson, and edge rusher Al-Quadin Muhammad, supplemented by draft picks Rueben Bain Jr. and Josiah Trotter.
