Tamworth man facing negligent driving charge

A 39-year-old man from Tamworth is scheduled to appear in Narrabri Local Court in February 2027 to contest a charge of negligent driving occasioning death. The charge stems from a fatal collision on the Kamilaroi Highway near Wee Waa on August 17, 2025, involving a semi-trailer, a tractor, and a horse truck towing a caravan.
