Overview

The Tanjung Lesung Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Banten is expanding its tourism infrastructure and accessibility. Efforts include a partnership between PT Banten West Java and PT Bro Skydive Indonesia to develop aviation tourism and skydiving facilities on approximately 9 hectares of land.

To improve connectivity, a new DAMRI bus route has been established to link the Tanjung Lesung area in Pandeglang with Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This service, which began operations on October 3, 2026, provides multiple daily departures to offer a public transportation alternative for travelers. Officials expect these improvements in transport and specialized tourism to increase hotel occupancy and attract more domestic and international visitors to the coastal zone.
