Taylor Sheridan has officially ruled out the development of a ‘Yellowstone’ spin-off titled ‘6666’. Sheridan explained that he refuses to ‘trivialize and fictionalize’ the real-life Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, which he purchased in 2022, citing a responsibility to protect the ranch’s heritage and the lives of its staff. While the spin-off is cancelled, Sheridan remains active with other projects. Production for the third season of ‘Landman’ is scheduled to begin in ~~September, with filming~~ September 2026. Actor James Jordan, who plays Dale Bradley, confirmed that the cast is receiving scripts and preparing to return to work.
