TCE-SP municipal ombudsman seal awards

Overview

The São Paulo State Court of Accounts (TCE-SP) has been awarding the ‘Ouvidoria Cidadã’ seal to various municipal entities to recognize excellence in public service ombudsman management and citizen engagement.

On October 4, the Marília City Council received the Silver Seal during a ceremony at the Court’s headquarters. Council President Danilo Bigeschi noted that the Ombudsman’s office provides a vital channel for citizens to submit complaints, request information, and offer suggestions.

Following this, on October 6, the TCE-SP extended recognition to other municipalities, including Cotia, which received a Silver seal, and Campinas. The initiative, which involved 761 ombudsman offices, aims to strengthen democracy by ensuring citizen feedback is transformed into actionable data for public managers.
