Technics has announced the SL-1210MKX, a professional direct-drive DJ turntable designed for high-demand environments such as clubs and festivals. The turntable features a coreless direct-drive motor with adjustable torque and brake speed, 78 rpm playback, and multiple pitch ranges—specifically a ±4% range for beatmatching and a ±50% range for creative mixing. The product is expected to be available starting in January 2027.
