Tecpetrol energy industry education in Neuquén

Overview

Tecpetrol organized the ninth edition of the ‘TecnoAventura’ educational program at the Cutral Có Cultural Center in Neuquén, Argentina. The initiative, held in collaboration with the Neuquén Ministry of Education, hosted over 350 fifth-year technical students and more than 45 teachers from 19 different schools across the province.

Participants engaged in practical stations covering various aspects of the energy industry, including geology, drilling, production, safety, environment, and energy transition. The program was designed to bridge the gap between technical education and professional career paths. The event concluded with a competition where the winning team earned a visit to Tecpetrol’s primary unconventional gas field, Fortín de Piedra, in Vaca Muerta.
