Tehran homicide following food delivery dispute
Overview
A man named Farzin was killed in Tehran following a dispute that originated from a food delivery interaction. The conflict began when a local restaurant owner in the Bagh-e Feyz neighborhood reported harassment by a neighbor during a delivery.
Her husband intervened, leading to an initial confrontation that was temporarily resolved by neighbors. However, a second physical altercation occurred when the husband returned to the location with several workers. During this second clash, Farzin sustained severe head injuries and later died in a hospital in western Tehran. His mother and brother were also injured during the incident.
The suspect, a 27-year-old man, fled Tehran following the killing but was later identified and arrested by police in the city of Malayer.
