Telangana law enforcement and cybercrime response crime trends
The Telangana state government has demonstrated significant progress in cybercrime prevention and investigation. In a PRAGATI review conducted by the Prime Minister’s Office, Telangana ranked first in India across nine parameters, including the establishment of the country’s first S4C centre and the implementation of the e-Zero FIR system. The state reported an 88% disposal rate on its Grievance Redressal Module and successfully restored approximately Rs 16.42 crore in cyber-fraud proceeds. To address evolving public safety challenges, the Telangana Police Department is restructuring its workforce. Director-General of Police C. V.
