Teletón disability rehabilitation expansion
Overview
The Teletón Foundation is expanding its rehabilitation and inclusion services across El Salvador and Mexico through new partnerships and infrastructure projects.
In El Salvador, a collaboration with the company Crecer supports the Teletón 2026 initiative, which provides free clinical services to individuals with physical disabilities to promote social and labor inclusion. In Mexico, the government of Colima has launched a recruitment drive for the new CRIT Colima center, which is expected to begin operations in November.
Further efforts in Mexico include fundraising and medical outreach. In Los Cabos, municipal authorities concluded the 2026 Teletón collection to fund neurological, physical, and occupational therapies at the CRIT Baja California Sur facility. Additionally, a medical outreach program in Puerto Morelos provided hundreds of specialized services, including psychology, speech therapy, and nutrition, to local families.
