Thai cultural promotion and festivals

Overview

Throughout mid-to-late 2026, various cultural festivals and events were organized to promote Thai heritage and foster international connections.

In July and August, activities included the Pakad art festival in Chiang Rai, which utilized the city’s Grand Market to showcase exhibitions, theater, and local crafts following its designation as a UNESCO Creative City of Design. Simultaneously, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the Thai Market 2026 in Prague to connect the Czech public with Thai cuisine and performances.

In late August, the second edition of the Thai Festival was scheduled to take place at the Centro Nacional de las Artes in Mexico. This event, coordinated with the Royal Thai Embassy in Mexico, aimed to strengthen cultural relationships through T-Pop music, Muay Thai exhibitions, traditional dance, and gastronomy.
