Thailand is experiencing significant activity in both inbound and outbound tourism sectors. Inbound tourism reached over 22.18 million foreign visitors between January 1 and September 19, generating approximately 1.08 trillion baht in revenue. Despite challenges like a weak yen and rising fuel surcharges, TAT aims to capture high-value travelers through wellness, culture, and sustainable tourism, with projected revenue from Japanese tourists reaching between 42 billion and 44 billion baht this year.
