Theft spree in Czech regions
Overview
Police in the Hradec Králové Region have apprehended two men, aged 31 and 34, following a series of 25 thefts across four Czech regions. The suspects allegedly operated between June 2024 and August 2026, targeting businesses, schools, and educational facilities.
The duo reportedly stole electronics, safes, cash registers, and cash, causing approximately one million koruna in damages. To avoid detection, the suspects used spray paint to obscure security sensors and cameras. Investigators from the department of forensic technology and expertise assisted in solving the case by analyzing traces left at the crime scenes. The older man was detained in the Central Bohemian Region and sent to custody, while the younger man was already imprisoned for a separate crime.
