Overview

German driver Timo Schulz achieved significant success during the 2026 rally season. In October, Schulz and co-driver Maresa Lade won the inaugural Sanremo Rally Electric in Italy, driving an Opel GSE Mokka. This victory, part of the Adac Opel GSE Rally Cup, returned Schulz to the top of the series standings.

Following this, Schulz secured the 2026 European Junior Rally Championship title during the season finale in Portugal. Competing for the ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team in an Opel Corsa Rally4, Schulz won the championship after his primary rival, Tom Heindrichs, experienced mechanical failure. In addition to the Junior ERC title, Schulz also secured the ERC4 title and earned a spot to compete in the Junior WRC in 2027.
