Tivan fluorite mining development in Australia

Tivan is advancing its fluorite mining interests in Australia through both project funding and exploration. In Western Australia, the Speewah Fluorite Project received a $3 million tranche of International Partnerships in Critical Minerals funding from the Australian Federal Government. This capital, part of a larger $6.4 million grant, is intended to support a Definitive Feasibility Study expected to conclude by late 2026. The project is a joint venture involving Sumitomo Corporation, the Japan Organisation for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC), and ETFS Capital, aiming to produce acid-grade fluorspar for semiconductors and electric vehicles.

Simultaneously, Tivan reported significant drilling results from its 100%-owned Sandover project in the Northern Territory. A 58-hole drilling program identified high-grade calcium fluoride intersections, including a standout result of 3m at 74.3% CaF2. The company intends to initiate further drilling to support a potential maiden mineral resource estimate, with the goal of establishing Sandover as a long-term source of acid-grade fluorspar to provide supply security for Japanese partners.
