Following his championship victory, reports indicate that the 44-year-old veteran, Jonathan Figueroa, has officially signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling.

As TNA builds momentum toward the Destination X pay-per-view, X Division Champion Amazing Red is scheduled to defend his title against Cedric Alexander on the October 29 edition of TNA Impact. Other upcoming programming includes Leon Slater appearing ahead of his title defense against Trey Miguel.
