On a Saturday morning, a 29-year-old Australian woman died after falling approximately 80 meters from a cliff at Kelingking Beach. Reports indicate she was attempting to find an independent path toward the cliff edge when she slipped. Rescue efforts by Basarnas Bali and the Indonesian Navy were complicated by high waves, requiring the body to be carried up a steep staircase.

Within 24 hours of the first incident, a second tragedy occurred on Sunday when a 54-year-old British man drowned while swimming at Crystal Bay Beach. Despite being transported to a medical clinic, he could not be revived. These consecutive deaths have led to discussions regarding safety standards and risks at popular natural attractions in the region.
