In Hai Phòng, an accident on National Highway 5 occurred when a concrete pillar fell from a trailer, striking a passenger car and causing a second trailer to overturn. This incident resulted in a traffic jam approximately 3 kilometers long. Preliminary investigations indicate the accident may have been caused by a failure to properly secure the load.
