Tributes to Linda McCartney in the United States

Overview

The United States is preparing multiple tributes to the life and career of photographer and musician Linda McCartney.

In late August, the United States Postal Service announced a new collection of Forever stamps featuring five images of McCartney’s nature and still life photography. The collection is scheduled for release on September 25 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Simultaneously, an exhibition titled ‘The Art of the Album: The Photography of Linda McCartney’ is set to open on September 25 at the Wrensilva Los Angeles showroom in West Hollywood. Running through February 2027, the showcase pairs McCartney’s music photography with corresponding vinyl records, allowing visitors to listen to artists such as The Beatles and Paul McCartney. This exhibition is presented in collaboration with The Linda McCartney Archive LLP and MPL Communications.
